Saving Private Ryan won't rip

:confused: I can't copy Saving Private ryan, it gets to 49% and stalls. I am new at this, I have tried Smart Ripper and DUP-DVD.
Are some DVD's Protected?, or is ther a list of the movies that can't be copied.
Please help.:)

For very hard cases the best is vStrip - it can rip almost every movie on this planet. When I have problems like the one you're describing, I use vStrip - it has never failed me....

I've never had a problem ripping SPR -- encoding it, though, is another matter.

Try using SmartRipper in Movie mode. This will automatically select angle 1 of the longest program chain.

hey thanks, maybe my original DVD if faulty, it jambs at about 1.20hrs when I try to rip with smart ripper.
