DVDx 1.8 with CCE ....Muxed00.mpg problem

Please help me, I'm an SVCD newbe,

I followed the guide "DVDx encoding with CCE"

After struggling a lot to make the filenames fit for the different plugins I finaly convinced DVDx 1.8 to run through the whole process without any error message.

But now when I try to run the "muxed00.mpg" it just displays the last frame of the test-movie while the audio starts running from the beginning, as expected. (I made a 3 minutes sequence so I can exactly pinpoint what is the last frame)
I've tried to run the file in PowerDVD and in Radlight 3.03R5 with the same results.

When I make the same movie with the build-in encoder, no problems with the final mpg file.

I would be very gratefull if someone could help me out here.

Please Guys, do some brainstorming :)

DVDx works great with its own encoder but I cant accept the final quality (too many motion artefacts). I need to convince CCE to give me the whole movie and not just a single frame.

well,
I have te same problem... only the last frame is shown. But, I did some encoding using CBR in cce and guess what, you'll get the complete video. Still trying to get vbr running though. anyway, if you find solve this problem let me know.
by the way, CBR with CCE gives a superb quality.

The author of DVDx himself acknowledges this as a shortcoming of DVDx - I guess he's the one to know the truth :-(

Are there any news on this problem or workaround from the author itself? I experience the same problem. could it be that the premiere server 0.92 works better? Anyone tried it yet
