First of all, as a new user in the SVCD world, this is by far the best program I have experience with so far.
Here is what I have notice with DVD2SVCD...
I have tried over 20 DVD movies with this software and here is the result. 4 of them came out choppy (I think it's a framerate problem). Somehow, the image seems to shake a lot. I'm not an expert or nothing in this but I have notice something...The 4 DVDs that doesn't work have something in commun.
When I load them (DVD original) with PowerDVD XP 4.0, in the Configuration (video information), under Video mode, it says "Bob". The other DVD that I have succesfully rip says "Weave". I don't know what that mean or if it has something to do with the problem, but that's what I found. Maybe it's a simple coincidence...
I wonder if there is a solution to rip the 4 DVD movies that didn't came out right for me. I tried different configuration setting Force film on, off, etc...I'm in Canada, so I use the NTSC system.
The 4 DVD movies: (don't work)
- The Accidental Spy (All Regions)
- Taxi (French movie, NTSC Region 1)
- Allosaurus (NTSC, Region 1)
- Walking with Dinosaurs (NTSC, Region 1)
Can someone help me? Thank you !!!
Sorry........This question should go the the basic topic....my mistake. Sorry !!!
