As a first time user, I installed the latest version of DVD2SVCD ( 1.0.7 b4 ) and tried to copy a PAL 16/9, (Prince of Egypt) including SVCD subtitles in English
All parameters were set like in the instruction manual
When I push the Go button, the subtitle color selection screen comes up, like in the manual, where I can de-select subtitle languages, but the bottom part of the screen, where the OK button etc. are supposed to be, doesn’t appear. (Not hidden behind any other window either. So all I can do is close this window and the systems asks me if I want to continue anyway, which I do. All seems fine during 4 hours, until CCE SP reaches 48%. Then the system freezes at a file size of 1.3GB. Restarting the whole thing results in exactly the same situation.
I use and AMD Athlon 1700+ with VIA 266 chipset, I installed both the AMD patch and the latest VIA 4 in 1.
WIN2K with SP2 and all latest patches (except I still use I.E 5.5).
I read the Q&A section, but nothing looks like my problem(s)
