To the person that wrote this guide! In this line of the guide:
"Then press the Load button and select TmpgTemplate.txt that IfoEdit has created for you."
No where in the guide did you make reference to Ifoedit except in the
above line, when and how did you use Ifoedit to save the file,TmpgTemplate.txt ??

on the miniDVD guide there's a guide entitled "Multiangle DVDs and TMPG re-encoding - last updated 03/01/02
How to deal with multiangle discs and how to use TMPG to re-encode the video stream"
that's where you get the full info on how to use tmpg and ifoedit together.
now you see my predicament.. I linked a part of a guide separately because some people complain that navigation is too complicated and that they would like to access sub guides directly.. now you've just shown that this can be problematic, too as sub guides make reference to things discussed in a certain flow of guides, but if you link them separately that complementary information is very hard to find.

Thanks, found the required info!
I see what you mean. So,far it's been easier for me to just
rip a movie, encode, and burn it to a VCD/SVCD.
Now that I purchased the Pioneer LF-D311 Combo drive (DVD-r/DVD-ram)
I thought I would give making "backups" a try, but easier said
than done because of the lengths of certain movies!
So, thanks for the guides, they give me somewhere to start and
makes great reading material!
