Resizing in the Codec Works PERFECTLY

I did not faced any problems. The source was PAL @ 25fps.
However, I did not notice any speed increasements either.

dit you use the "save avi" option i DVD2AVI?

I get 12 fps on the 1. pass and 20 fps on the 2. pass
using a PAL DVD, resize to 640x272, with B-frames and GMP, on a P3-750Mhz.

I tried the resize which produced the correct output, but did notice that the file size was about 10% larger than encoding the same clip with vidomi resize and croping.

Any ideas why?
