does anyone know how far a can overburn a 700 MB/ 80 minute CD? right now im just burning up to 795 MB on a single 700 mb cd, but wats the furthest i can (safely) push it without wasting an entire night of encodiing.

depends on your cd burner and cd media. 807MB is what you should be able to burn without overburning.

Your DVD player can also limit what you use. There are several threads in the advanced forum on this. Mostly based on 90 and 99 minute discs, but there is info on 80 minute as well.
On my Pioneer I can play up to 828mb's on a 80 minute disc no problem, but each make and model has proven to be different.
The only way to know for sure is to test it out yourself.
