I've made mpeg2, 720x480 48Hz, from dvd movie using DVD2SVCD and authored (after a TMPGEnc remux) as dvd with my pioneer a03 using spruceup. This plays great on my apex660, 5131 and pioneer333. Because the menus are limited, I'd prefer to author with videopack5. DVDs authored with vp5 play fine on the apex machines, but play with sound out of sync on the pioneer until I press pause/play. Also, as the movie passes a chapter point, the audio drops out for about 2 seconds. Anyone use this combination with success? What may I be doing wrong with vp5? :confused:
