DVD Decryter 3 for DVD-RW

OKay, I have downloaded DVD Decryter 3, I opened it and in the souce box it says " no source detected", apparently it should have my pioneer dvd in there. My Pioneer dvd is a dvd-rw, does this have anything to do with it, or can anyone help me out. Thanks!!!

I also have a Pioneer DVD-RW DVR-103. DVD Decrypter 3.0 opened without problems.

Try playing your dvd with a software DVD Player first to authenticate the DVD, before trying DVD Decrypter.

I wish the price of DVD-R media would come down. I'd like to follow doom's guides to backup a DVD9 -> 2 DVD-R's, but I dont feel like making $9 coasters :D

I was playing the dvd at the time i opened it, The DVD decoder did not detect the souce. Is there somethign else I need to have before I can do all this, or is this the first step to getting the dvd on my hard drive??
