AV out of sync during navigating

I used Nandub 1.0RC2 to encode "mumie 2" PAL into a 720x436 divx film with AC3 audio.
If I watch the film without touch anything, everything looks perfect. But if I jump to a later
point in the video, the Audio is completely out sync. How could this happen?

I encoded this movie on a dual PII400 win2k. (Cause the Matrox G200 won't play my divx film
at such resolution correctly, always too slow video stream).

I watched the result film on a AMD K7 650 win2k.(Has a Elsa Gefore2MX )

what player are you using?

i find WMP does as you say, and goes out of synch when jumping to later points, especially for higher resolution and high bitrate divx's, but if i use the playa, or PowerDivX, the audio takes a few seconds to catch up, and will be in synch again.

I tried PowerDivxNextGen, BsPlayer etc. nothing works.

Finally I found out, this happens only if I play the 2.2G AVI file(on NTFS partition). After I have splited it into 3 x 695MB AVIs, the navigation works
again! So I think the reason is the AVI file is too big.

What about this problem? I made avi with AC3 sound (Saving Private ryan) with VirtualDub and join audio and video with NanDub (interleaving every 64ms and second time 2 ms) and none of the setting worked for me. When i play movie (BsPlayer) from begining the sound and video are synhonized, but if i skip forward the movie, the sound stays way behind or completely dissapears. I made everything by the Doom9 guide. The file with AC3 is 2.1Gb the size.

I already thought about the file size. I must try if it works for me.

I have this problem if I choose "Default WaveOut Device" instead of "DirectSound SBAudigy Wave Device" in the Intervideo Audio Decoder. As long as the Audigy is selected, it syncs fine. Took me 2 days to figure it out. It's backwards from the Doom9 AC3 Guide, but it works.
