The NT/Win2k and WinXP installers offer this to you up on the time of installation.

Partiton Magic comes to mind as well.

You can convert your partitions into NTFS with either Partition Magic or with a built-in Windows NT utility.

The utility resides in your WINNT\SYSTEM32 directory and is named CONVERT.EXE. It converts FAT/FAT32's to NTFS's with the following command line:

convert [drive letter] /FS:NTFS

For example in Windows 2000, converting drive D:

Start -> Programs -> Accessories -> Command Prompt
C:\>cd\winnt\system32
C:\WINNT\SYSTEM32\>convert d: /FS:NTFS

Wait few seconds and voilá! :D

I have a dual boot with w98/w2k........and I recently had to convert one drive to ntfs because of the limit of 4 gb for FAT32.........dvd stuff, you know...he he he....but, besides "ntfsfor98", i couldn´t find any other program to "see" this drive in w98.......

Does anyone knows another program???
Thanks
Alx.

congratulations
if you really converted your fat32 partition to NTFS
you will have most likely halfed the performance of your HD.
lets hope you meant you had reformatted and created a new NTFS
partition and not run the naff old conversion option that
choose a really silly NTFS cluster size by default!

I seem to remeber that there is a program called NTFS for Win98-try to do a search on Google.

Thank you zub144 for your advice, but, as i said early, that was the program that i been using for a while......it is buggy, slow the access and the one that you can get from the official page only let me READ data on a ntfs hdd...
