Encoding only a part of a movie

Hi @all,

I captured a movie from my digital-receiver but it didn't start at the right position and I didn't stopped the capturing at the right point. Now my question:
I know that that CCE has a option to set the start and endframe for the encoding process. I can edit the CCE-Project File generated by DVD2SVCD after I stopped DVD2SVD. But I can not set these options in DVD2SVCD. After modifing the CCE File I tried to use the Crash Recovery function after editing to go on, but he overwrote my edited Projectfile. :(
It is possible to make two fields to set the start and the endframe in DVD2SVCD or does anyone know an other way to solve that problem.

if you know how to edit the ecl file, why not bypass dvd2svcd altogether?

because I have to do all further steps (bbmpeg, CD Images) manually.

well, after encoding the mpv file you can do a crash recovery. first you have to edit the d2s file so it "knows" video encoding was finished. then, at the crash recovery, let the muxing begin!
