Hi,

I used DVD2SVCD 1.0.7 b1 with TPMG and burned CD successfully. When I tried to play that CD with PowerDVD I got error: "A disc with an unsupported format...".
Directory structure on CD looks ok:
-EXT
-EXTRA
-MPEG2
-SEGMENT
-SVCD

I tried to run created MPEG file from my HDD, and it was ok.
Any idea what could be wrong?

Thanx,

Try WinDvd, I suspect it will play it just fine.

What version of PowerDVD were you using? You need version 4 to be able to play a SVCD. With versions prior to that the only way was to select th option to play a media file and then manually select the video file and tell it to explicitly play that file.

I solved this problem, by using Nero to burn the bin/cues. Use daemon tools to Mount the image, then use disc/copy in nero.

Thanks, with PowerDVD 4.0 it works fine.

I did do the same thing as badbert with the same result. I am happy with that, but can anybody tell me why?

Thanx
