Please Help

Im using dvd2vcd on a 2 ghz 512rdram machine with windowsXP. I burned a SVCD and it plays fine on the computer and on my dvd player for my tv EXCEPT when i play it on my computer i could skip tracks to certain points on the moive however on my player for my tv it dont work i could only hold down fast forward..btw i have a sony dvd player model dvp-s560d...PLEASE help im almost there! =)

Sony's are notoriously bad SVCD players. Probably the worst for them. Very good for DVD though. It's probably the DVD player. See if a friend has a cheapo Apex or a Pioneer and see if it does the chapters on that.
You can look up your player at www.vcdhelp.com Make sure to read the comments.
I am actually surprised you got it to play the SVCD at all. Nobody I know that has a Sony can play them.
