compcheck crashes

Every time i try a compcheck my gknot crashes and i get a blue screen of death. Using the latest ver with my intel P4 933 and win98. Anyone having similar problems?

Yep

Got the same problem. What version of GK and divX are you using?
It seems that this is the problem according to a previous post. Using an old version of GK and divX4 can cause this issue. It might help solve the problem for you.
I still have the problem though even with the update so I just encode without the comp check, and get great results.

never had this problem myself, but i think the crash occurs (only on 98/ME afaik) because two open instances of mpeg2dec (preview window and comp-check) at the same time are just too much for some systems.
mpeg2dec often takes one hundred megabyte of ram and more...
