no sound

i'm using XMPEG and i did choose to decode sound. I choose the Radium MP3 compression.

I'm using the second pass thingy.
Oh i also have problems with the image quaility.. it sux. Well compared to some i've seen, it's way below par.

I can't seem to find the link to the damn guide on this site.
so if any of u are kind enough to hook me up with some answers, I would be very thankful.

If you believe the image quality sux, why are you still using it?

Check Doom9's guides for a much better way with Gknot, Avisynth and VirtualDub. It not that hard to set up, and it will give you superb quality.
