I remember I downloaded an Add-on for VirtualDub (quite a while ago) before that let you fix AVI frozen frames in a few seconds in Vdub with just a coulpe of clicks...
Anybody know what tool this is and where I can get it?
Thx in advance...

there is an app called AVIdefreezer
and vdubmp3 or 1.4.8/1.4.9
can scan for the freezes...
however 1.4.8 had a bug scanning
for the freezes (said to be fixed in .9)

latest vdub can scan for freezes? how?
AVIdefreezer isnt defreezing the whole file... its only saving about 35% of the file (and unopenable)

same as vdubmp3 does
video -> scan for freezes
are you sure you used the avidefreezer correctly ?
you have to add the defreezes from the first keyframe before the error to the first keyframe after the error

you could frameserve the avi with some tool, though this would require a frameserving tool that doesnīt stop at the frozen frames...
I couldnīt find one which manages all frozen avis correctly :(
