I have compiled with DVDMaestro - in my video_ts folder is a file called Untitled1.lay. When I burn back to DVD-R do i need to include this file or not? I made a coaster when using VOB Instant CD, but I don't know whether this caused it or not. It played on my PC but not in my Aiwa 370.

I just leave the .lay file in the Video_TS folder ...then burn using PrimoPrassi software and Pioneer A03. BTW, my burned DVD-R (el cheapo discs from CD recordable.com) and play fine on the following standalone players: Pioneer 444, Sony 530D, Panasonic RP91, APEX 703... also Pioneer 16X DVD-Rom and Toshiba 1201 DVD rom.

I've left it in and taken it out, it doesn't seem to make a difference. I think that's because it's the first file and doesn't affect the sector displacement. SpruceUp (also a Spruce product) also creates the .LAY file...
