when i process a file for divx through vdub it only gives me a 5 meg avi file that cannot be opened anywhere?

whats happening?

i heard so much about vdub but i never got it to work now this is all that it gives me

What processing are you doing? What compression did you use? Etc., etc. Tell us exactly what steps you went through.

divx 5 pro, but did not use any mpeg4 options

fast recompress

force film

and then i just go save film

I suggest you go to the DivX 5 forum with this. There is nothing wrong with VirtualDub.

You don't perhapse have the codec set to '2-pass, first pass' ?
