Has anyone seen this problem.

Movie encoded with DivX4.12, 2 pass with AC3 sound.
Fresh install of WinXP pro.
Playback with Mediaplayer8 and the Playa(which came with 4.12 bundle).

Playback is choppy and not in sync. CPU is at 100%

Did a clean install of W2kpro and playback is fine at 50% CPU

What soundcard? Are you passing AC3 to your stereo, or decoding it with your cpu/soundcard?

try a different player... you can start with windows media player 6.4 by typing mplayer2 into run

I tried Media Playa 8, The Playa 0.66, & Nextgetn All with the same results.

Sticking to W2K for now as its all working fine
