Permanent subtitles (x - position)

I hope that someone can help me with this question:
When i make an xsvcd with 720x480 resolution with the option "permanent subtitles" activated, the subtitles are burnt on the image. Concerning the height (Y-pos) they are OK, but the problem is with that they are not at the center of the image, they are at the left "X-pos".
Is there any way to define where i want my permanent subtitles concerning de X-pos ? Is there any file that i can edit and set my definitions ? The problem it´s only with the X-pos i have no problems with the height.

I too have this problem, does anyone know how to move the subtitles in the horizontal position?

Hi, not sure about it but your sistem is PAL. So your resolution must be 720x576 and not 720x480. Hope it helps.

Yes, it's pal and I do pal. When I do the preview it appears ok but final result presents subtitles slightly to the left but very noticible. DVD2SVCD could help...

Could you please be kind enough to explain how can I position subtitles a little to the right as my subtitles appear a little to the left.

Try to adjust the X position on the Preview .
The other option is to make switchable subs.

Although the subtitles appears centered at the horizontal position at the final encoded movie does not.
I know I can adjust subtitles vertically but do you know how to adjust at the horizontal position?
