keep aspect ratio with avi2svcd

hi, i have a divx file i wanna convert to svcd with dvd2svcd in avi2svcd mode (with cce).
the divx was originally a 16:9 file but has been cut off some pixels on left and right side to reduce the black bars.
now when i set avi2svcd to use 16:9 aspect ratio the picture gets wider and i get the reverse egghead effect.
is there anyway i can avoid this and keep the aspect ratio of my divx file?

If you want to keep DVD2SVCD from adding anything to the image try doing the encode as 4:3.
If you need to you can also make your own border adjustment by editing the avisynth file.

hi and thx for your answer.
i already tried setting dvd2svcd ratio to 4:3 but then the picture got blown up to full 4:3 size.
ill try playing around with the avisynth file maybe i can fix my problem with this.
i dont know if this is possible but it would be cool to have the option to keep the aspect ratio of a file even if its not 16:9 or 4:3 in a future version of dvd2svcd ;)
