hi, i got this email about a prog called dvd-squeeze, they claim they can make a dvd fit onto a cd-r by compressing the movie into the size of an 80 minute cd. they say its basically the same thing as a wav from a cd converted to an mp3. i was wondering if this is true? can anyone verify that this really works and that its not a hoax? if u can plz lemme know

Not a topic for this board, but it's called Divx or shitty quality, you could squeeze a movie into a 250 mb disc if you encoded at something like 300, but that would be like watching 4 or 5 colored blocks on a screen.
