Creating Audio Files from VOB

How do I create .ac3 files from my VOB files so I can load them when I want to do my final pass?

Which step creates the audio files to select as source in audio 1 when I prepare to convert my .avs to .avi in the finalizing steps?

To extract audio form the vob you can use DVD2AVI (guide: http://www.doom9.org/mpg/dvd2avi.htm ) or a very cool proggie to do direct vob - mp3 (mp2 or any other format) conversion - BeSweet (guide: http://www.doom9.org/ac3tomp3.htm )

Thanks for the help.

I changed some settings and it has been working out perfectly in transcoding the audio files. I do not always get the text file that reports which are the languages and subtitle tracks, but that is fine.
