I am trying to encode this to an svcd using the following method:
dvd2avi --> avisynth --> cce 2.5. Using tmpg (with toolame) to make the .mp2. After encoding and burning the video is very jumpy and the picture looks off-center to the left when played on my standalone (APEX 5131). When I play it on the computer both, just the .mpg and the burnt svcd, it plays fine.

Now it really gets wierd, I just used DVD2SVCD 1.04, and the svcd came out great when being played on my standalone (APEX 5131). So why did dvd2svcd make a good one and cce 2.5 by itself, not?? Thanks.

the jumpiness sounds like an incorrect field order to me, and i believe that's why it worked in dvd2svcd. if i remember correctly, dvd2svcd implements an auto-field order detection.

Where is the field order setting made at? In CCE? DVD2avi? At what point of the encoding process is this setting located? Thanks.
