Just wanted to post my comparison test between 1.11 and 1.2RC4. You can see 1.2RC4 is providing about an 11% speed increase over 1.11:)

Now if only Vorbis were as fast;)

One last thing-

v1.11 MP3 filesize- 14.8MB
v1.2RC4 MP3 filesize- 13.2MB

I think you get the point;) Is anyone still using MP3 for rips though? Clearly Vorbis is the better alternative...Yummy Vorbis:D
