Read Divx mde with GKnot crashed my PC...

Hello,
When I try to read a Divx made with GKnot my PC crashed ...
I'm Win ME and an ATI graphic card with last drier version , I tried with differents player (Win media player and BSplayer) and it's the same, my PC crashed (blue screen)...
Is there somebody read Divx with Win ME ?
If yes with what player ?

Because GKnot is not really creating the AVI but just helping to calculate the bitrate and run VDub / Nandub, I'm quite sure that GKnot is not the reason for the crash. Do you have other AVIs which work well? Can you try to encode a simple AVI just with VirtualDub (probably having low quality or wrong size, though), does that run? Which video codec exactly do you use, which audio format does the movies contain?

In first I try to encode Divx with FlaskMpeg and I had some problems,
and I can read Divx made with FlaskMpeg (by a friend). So I used GKnot to encode Divx (AVI format) and it works very well, but I can't read the AVI file !
I used Codec3.11+4.12 and Mpeglayer3 for audio...
