I'm having an odd problem with 23.976 fps conversion to 25 using DivXG400 2.7. When I view NTSC DivX content, the movie goes along just fine for a while, being steadily converted to 25 fps, but every 5-6 minutes or so the framerate goes down to 15 or something similar. When I disable the framerate conversion the movie is fine, except for the 'chop' every second. I don't experience this problem when running 25 fps encoded DivX movies, so it really ought to be a software problem. (I think) I've tried almost every possible solution, but without any luck. I'm using a BT868 based card along with TVTool 5.5.3. It isn't an hardware-related problem I'm sure, tried installing different drivers for almost every component in the system. Can it have something to do with the BT868 chip? I'm using the 21.83 Detonator drivers, but one should think this wouldn't matter.

Anyhow my system is what follows.

Cel2 566@850
160mb ram
13gb 7200 ibm deskstar
Chaintech 6ASA4 (VIA)
Xelo GeForce 2 MX w/ BT868
Toshiba 4.8x/32x DVD-ROM (think it's called 1404)

Any tip or solution would be greatly appreaciated since this pretty much keeps me awake at night. :(
