Unknown format: DIV2

The topic is the failure report VirtualDub gives me, when I try to open a AmericanHistoryX avi... I have tried to play it with several players (THEPlaya, BSPlaya, Sasami, MediaPlayer, PowerDVD) And all I get is a complete gray pic:angry:
Does anyone know how to fix this? I have DivX 4.12 running on XP... Tried all the codecs I found on the net...

Isn't that Microsoft MPEG V1/2/3 or DivX 3.11 alpha?

No, DivX 3.11a is AFAIK only DIV3 and DIV4.

Get a FOURCC changer and mess around with it. EG. change it to DIV3, then DIVX etc
