using Gknots bitrate cal but its comming up short

tryed 3 different titles and using Gknot to calculate the bitrate to use for vdub and divx 5 but the end filesize is smaller than projected it was more closer with 4.12 than 5 and i know the compression is better , i read that the bitrate cal will work for divx 5 but is there any calculators out yet for divx 5?

AFAIK no calculators exist ATM. So filesize prediction is pretty much non-existant. Using the current version of Gknot isn't going to predict Divx 5 filesize either. Not sure where you read that at:confused:

Yeah, that's what I've been doing for the past two hours. One and a half pages full of new posts when I checked in for the morning! :D
