The cce encoding is stopping at 49% of the file and I cannot get past this. There is no problem with the alternative encoder. I am using a compag ap200 650 meghtz with 256 ram and 100 gig maxtor external firewire. Do I need to reconfigure? I used the step by step manual for the bundle program. OS is XP pro.

One of the most posted subjects...cce crashing/stopping in the middle of the encoding. Try doing a search you'll find a ton of things that people have tried with some success in fixing such problems.

i wish people would at least put 'cce crashing' in the title.. then id know not to bother reading it. i thought maybe this was an indepth post on the innerworkings of mpeg2 creation in CCE .. damn im disappointed

for the record i overclock my cpu and my memory is timed faster than it should be but cce doesnt crash on me
