Hi!

I just installed divx 5, and I cant get TMPGEnc version 2.50 or 2.53 to encode to svcd anymore, it just takes the sound, and shows a black screen instead of the video.

Old version of TMPGE works like 1,2i.

If I uninstall divx5 and put back divx 4.12 it all seems good again.

Anyone?

I guess I will point out the obvious and say "Don't use DivX5".

I'm inclined to agree with Snarg, but to be honest, as long as the DivX5 codec is fully accessible to Windows itself, then generally-speaking I would not expect newer versions of TMPGEnc to experience any difficulty reading the DivX5 source files. I have not actually tried it myself though, since I cannot stand DivX in the first place!! (Viva MPEG2! ;) )

and i noticed that nandub uses the fast motion codec instead of the low in encoding when divx5 is installed.

of course i had the fast motion disabled(switch over 300).

i disinstalled divx5 now...
