We all know that when we encode a movie with DivX 4.12 (2 pass) the desired file size of the ending avi is always far from what we expect (20MB - 30MB undersized file).
I've found a way to make the ending avi near to what we expect.
This utility (IS A COMMAND LINE UTILITY) make a 3 pass encoding: the first and second pass are normal, in the 3° pass it uses the avi file size to calculate a new bitrate, than it makes a new pass with this bitrate.
I've tested this with a lot of clips and 3 movies: the maximum difference i've seen was 3MB (undersized) from what i expect.
