I have rencently purchased the Pioneer A3 DVD burner and am trying to find a good, reliable and robust DVD authoring tool. I am a currnet user of Premiere 6, with all the addons. so I am sort of used to the linear layout. I have looked at DVDit and MyDVD and both of these apps are too basic. Does anyone know where I can get a Demo or Trial version of Scenarist, Fussion, Impression or DVD Creator?

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

As you wrote me I thought to respond here. I’m sorry I don’t know where you can find a demo of Scenarist. There is no demo on their site. For starting I suggest DVD Maestro. It’s probably the next best thing after Scenarist which is the mother of all DVD authoring programs and used for the Hollywood DVDs. Maestro is both easy and powerful. Later if you see that you are not satisfied, you can try Scenarist.

I understand the cost of Scenarist is quite high, 22 to 39k depending on where you look. It is a little rich. I will look for Maestro seeing as it was suggested.

Thanks
