Hi, if you had a progressive dvd player and you played a DVD in it and captured the output to your computer w/ a capture card, would the file be perfectly deinterlaced and IVTC'd for you already with all progressive frames? I don't have the equipment to do that, I was just wondering :D

Doesn't a progressive DVD player just mean that it's putting out 60 fps? In other words, it outputs fields 1 and 2 melded together, the 2 and 3, then 3 and 4, and so on.

And isn't this mode only compatible with a digital TV (mode 480p, or whatever it's called)?
