divx5 playback

I have a problem playing files with divx5 codec with WMP and the bundled player. The movie plays ok for a while, but then the video playback freezes and audio keeps on playing. After some time the video starts fastforwarding to the same position, where the audio is playing. This happens about every 2 minutes. Anyone else noticed the samekind of problem? :confused:

My machine:

1200Mhz AMD ATHLON
WIN XP Pro
Geforce 2 GTS

well, really i couldnt say, simce here the player only shows a black screen when opening an avi......

anyone knows why??

What i have tested so far Divx5 is only for fast systems. Tried different settings and players, playback was still VERY choppy.

I have only p3600.
