Hello.
I always make rips with SBC-AC3 DD 5.1ch sound.
I want to try DivX 5 now but vdub does not support AC3 sound.
My question is-> Can I encode the video with vdub and mux the AC3 in nandub? Would I have any problem with that?

It works. (But why didn't you just try it and see?)

No, I ment hjl113, but thanks anyway :)
If you look at my post you'll see it was sent only one minute after yours, so I didn't see it before.

Thanks guys.
and no I didn't try it yet.
Didn't have DVD handy to test it now.
Will definately try it...btw, b-frame really worth the extra time to encode you guys think?

It reduces filesize a lot, but (I think) it also produces choppy playback for most people. Maybe this only so for slower processors.
The filesize reduction is definately worth it, but unfortunately the reduction is not predictable yet.

AC3 with Divx 5 works just fine, as expected.
