what I do wrong?

I used DVDdecryptor to rip "The Usual Suspects" to my hard drive. the entire movie is about 4.2 gigs. So now i have a folder named video_ts on my hard drive and it plays fine in winDVD. I used the latest nero to burn it to a dvd-r. burning went ok. went to put it in my dvd player (which I know supports dvd-r discs) and it said disc error. put it in my dvd-rom on my computer and it plays fine. what did I do wrong. please any help would be appreciated. thanks

Firstly, u broke forum rule number 10 .

Secondly, did you read all the new dvd-r releated guides on doom9.org.

Of couse, as you say, your standalone might not support dvd-r....not much you can do about that im afraid!
