help, battle between the burning tools

i have primodvd and recordnow max on my computer already and they work fine. i just installed the newest version of nero 5.5.7.8.

after the installation, when i try to burn a dvd with primodvd or recordnow it would give me an error. then i removed nero, what do u know, primo and recordnow works again.

What is this, a war between the two programs.

please someone help i want nero and recordnow to conform and work together on my computer. does anyone have all these programs installed on their computer and still works.

I believe Nero installs it's own limited aspi drivers. To get everything to work, install Nero then reinstall the adaptec aspi drivers.

BTW: I wouldn't use Nero to burn DVDs. I don't know about the latest and greatest version, but the previous ones had problems. Nero is great in most other respects, just not DVDs and SVCDs. I wish they would fix it.

DVD's definately not, but they did finally fix svcd searching problems (at least they work perfect for me now).
