How long does it take ? i set it up and it ran for 6 hours and only did 90mb. iam doing some thing worng it goes slow as hell and its not take all the computers power to do the compileing because the computer run find when its on.

When I compile my DVD, it usually takes about 10-15min or so in DVD Maestro.

You probably have DVDMaestro build 2044 right?

It doesn´t compile....

You have to find a working version.

Had the same problem and gave up after 5h, and then read somewhere that this version just can´t compile...

DVD Maestro compiles only in idle time. That means that if your computer is doing other things, the compiling time will be quite long.

ok i picked 2.9 and it works it makes the VIDEO_TS and AUDIO_TS with all the files. i used nero to burn to dvd udf/iso didnt tuch any settings. and it burned but only plays on the computer but not on the set-top dvd play way ? is there a setting i need to change ?

May be your player doesn't support miniDVD! Most players don't. :(

it does play it if i use other programs to burn the dvd. but the other programs will not take the VIDEO_TS and AUDIO_TS i tryed useing dvdit pe and it crached when i was running a test. and i dont have anyother program can anyone tell me some other ones so i can try them

So... may be there's something with Nero. Have you tried burning the CD from within DVD Maestro? I use it without problem. It even recognizes non-blank RWs and offers me to erase them. ;)

you might try - VOB InstantCD\DVD to burn them.

dont burn the audio_ts folder only the video_ts....The audio ts should be empty and deleted....everything you need should already be in the video_ts folder ready for burning....I have made 8 this way and all work on stand a lone player.:cool:

ok i tryed DVD Maestro to burner the vob that didnt work Maestro gave me a error then trying to erase the dvd.

And i thought you HAD to burn VIDEO_TS and AUDIO_TS eventhow the AUDIO_TS had no files in it. and what settings did you use in nero to burn it ?

I did as you by using Maestro to create the video and audio ts folders, then just deleted the audio ... used nero to burn the video folder. I used nero selecting data and just selected the video_ts folder and burned it...thats it...always worked.

ok did you use DVD UDF/ISO settings or DVD ISO or DVD UDF in nero ?

to tell you the truth i dont remember...i will have to ck when i get home. I use the wizard and just select data dvd without paying much attention to the setting. I also have used prassi dvd recording software and that works.

ok well it didt work with the 5.5.6.9 going to d/l the new one 5.5.7.8 and try to burn again when i get back form work.

ok back form work and want to make a update.

I installed nero 5.5.7.9 and it burned to dvd and it worked in my dvd player on the tv BUT it's only plays the frist cd only 43min where cd2 picks up it does not play it stops and quits. i play it on my computer and it works great.
