hi,

well, I didnt know how I could ask my question exactly ... ;)

So, my problem is that I've worked the whole before with Gknot and it always told me if I take 2 CDs and e.g. an audio-bitrate about 192kbps, I would got a video-bitrate about e.g. 1400kbps!
And if the video-bitrate was below 900kbps on 2 CDs, I have taken 3CDs, that was allright!

But I dont have this "hints" of Gknot in VD, do I?
So, where can I see, how many CDs I have to use, so that my video-bitrate isnt too low?

OK, I can check this with Gknot, but if I take DivX5 or XviD, I dont have that Gknot support, which tells me all these things...

Can anyhelp me ?

You can still use GKnot to estimate what number of CD's to use. Set codec calculation on DivX4, that's the most accurate for XviD and (I think) DivX5. Just for an indication.

VDub is just about video-processing, so it doesn't have all these things that GKnot has. And it doesn't need it, because it's doing a great job without them.
