ac3 files, dvdit! pe, & windows xp...

whenever i try to import an ac3 file in to dvdit! pe, it crashes... i'm using version 2.5 (not 2.5.2)... does anyone know why this is occuring or anything i could do to resolve it? i'm thinking windows xp may be the culprit... its not really too big of a deal, i can convert the ac3 file to a wav file and then have dvdit! pe convert it to ac3 audio, but that takes 30 to 40 minutes, and its kind of a pain the ass...

any assistance would be appreciated..

The best way is to use wav with DVDit PE and let DVDit to conver the wav to AC3.

It converts the AC3 to wav and back to AC3 anyway - why?

dvdit! pe supports ac3 files...
converting the ac3 file to wav and then having dvdit! pe convert back to ac3 is a huge time waster..

if i could get some non-retard answers they would be greatly appreciated

DVDit works like that. Did you try to read the manual? PE only supports Dolby Stereo, not 5.1. Fix your AC3.

jeez. I get the same error with DVDit PE. I guess it's a bug from the program, supposedly it will work when you burn it.
