I've used WinME so far but based on the suggestion I installed Win200 on my new PC. My problem started right after it. During the first run NAnDub wanted to create a temporarry file in a size of 11 Gb. Under WinME never happened this. Is it necessary to occupy 10 Gb extra space or I can deselect something in preferences of NanDub?

It's plain divx 3.11alpha.
In other words - it's divx 3.11alpha without any VKI or other patches, which are often reffered as divx 3.20 or 3.22. Just make sure to install the divx3.11alpha you have downloaded from Doom9's download page.

"vanilla" means clean, pure, original.
In this case: no VKI patches or whatsoever...
Try checking "No AVI output" on first pass.

P.S.: following the link in my signature you'll find Nandub options Explained, maybe a good starting point on trouble ;)
