CCE encoding help

Can someone help please?

I am using CCE 2.64 (Standalone program) to encode a DV footage editied by Adobe Premiere output in DV avi format. The length of the avi is approx 1 hour 20 minutes. CCE crashes immediately when I try and encode in all variations i.e. CBR , one pass, multipass.

If I take the first 10 minutes of the avi, again using Adobe Premiere CCE works ok.

What is going on?

I have not tries the premiere plugin yet.
