can You help me somebody ? Can You send me to my e-mail post firmware for Thomson DVD DTH5200 (or 5000 , or 5400) ver. 5.02Ee or newest (reg. 2 or any others ) ?

i have an DTH 4200...

what for do you need this update? do you programm an EEprom by yourself or is there an other way to update the player?

how can I check the firmware version of my thomson dth5400?
and what are the advantages of a (possible) later release of the firmware for this player?

you must open DVD Player and see to EPROM - there is paper-label with version of firmware.

I think, next version has better reading of CD-R . Firmware of Samsung has 5.02Ee and it reads better CD-R with SVCD, but this firmware doesnt knows all function for Thomson.

(Thomson is clone of Samsung )
