I unput into the Desired File Size = 6250000 KB

After the 2nd pass I get a 1400 MB file?

Now I try a larger value 62500000 KB and the file size is smaller? Its 400 MB?

What could possibly be doing this?

I am using Koepi's latest build

Very Confused,

Dali

Edit:

I am not using any restriction on Quantizers, just 50% Key frame boost and modulated MPEG/H.263 setting

I tried using the External 2-Pass with GKnot, but it gives the same small file size? This is really wierd...Maybe bug? I am using a Static Noise Reduction filter with it, could that cause it?

Nope, I just tried Divx 4 and its file size is correct with my same filter setup??

Ok, now I tried limiting the Quantizers both keyframe and the other one and if I put 1-4 and 1-2 limits, it works right? That's way too low be right?

"I unput into the Desired File Size = 6250000 KB "

I read that as a 6.25 gb file you're wanting to create..?

"Now I try a larger value 62500000 KB and the file size is smaller? Its 400 MB?"

And thats a 62.5 gb file?

maybe with those crazy values its getting all confused...
I've created about 4? full xvid encodes and all have been pretty much spot on.. i use the 2 pass internal.. I'm too stupid to use gordian knot..
the quality is definitely better than divx 4..

6.25GB is even more than a normal MPEG2 source has :D

assuming you want 625MB (1CD w/ audio=700MB)

it should be 625*1024kb=640000kb

but i think you already know that and it's just one of those little
mistakes everyone does from time to time ;)
