can avi2svcd handle avi with ac3?

hello

i have a divx movie which has the sound coded in ac3. can i convert it into a svcd with dvd2svcd? i mean can d2s extract and convert the sound of this file into mp2 dolby surround?

Yes, d2s can handle ac3 audio, otherwise can't do DVD 2 SVCD :) , but the mp2 track is a stereo downmix.

yeah i know d2s can handle ac3 but can it detect it when its multiplexed with an divx avi?
