The output filesize of the encodec divx does not match the oen ive selected using bitrate calc. Calc says a movie of 1400 kbps á 58 minutes with 128 kbps MP3 audio should take 650 Mb. but when ive encoded the clip it takes about 712 mb, without the mp3 sound.
Whats wrong?

Read the NOE.

Your settings may be too strict (e.g. DRF range too small or gauge settings unsuitable).

Well, I've read the notes and used the suggested settings worked so far. However It is not suitable for the last movie I'm working with, Shakal. 2 hours movie, with an ac3 audio of 340 Mb direct copy. calculated bitrate for a 1400 Mb length is 1227k/s. First I set DRF: 2-5 as suggested for 2CDs, Gauge: min:30, low:40-max:100. So everything is set in an apropriate way as suggested and worked so far for different movies. But this movie is different(?) ending with a files size of 2000Mb instead of 1400 Mb. WHY????
