First approach

Hi everybody. My first approach with DVD2SVCD failed. I have three question:
1) Despite of I choosed the default settings in Bitrate TAB, with 74 min CD, the CUE/Bin File that were generated (2 without any alarms) were too big to fit on a 80 mins CD. Why?

2) My PioneerA03 refuse to burn Image from your program, don't ask me way. Simply he did not want to start. On the forum I found many people usin ISOBUSTER to extract the folders; I I did it without success, because I burned the folder in a ISO way, but my standlaone player (Pioneer 525) doesn't recognize it as a VCD but CD only....

Is there any good gay out there qhich like to help me on these two matters?

just because you made me laugh i'll give it a go ;)
1)if you let the settings at default in the bitrate tab, it depends on the length of your movie how many cd's you get and what length they have. if the image is 800MB it fits on a 80 min cd, but you have to burn it the right way (according to guide, FAQ and Q&A!)
2)as a first-timer, you should follow the guides to the letter. if you do this, the result should be perfectly readable for the pioneer 525 (i know this from experience).

so what should you do? first you should read. go through the link i gave you, read everything there is to read and focus on how to burn the image. then come back and tell me if the problem still exists, post your log, elaborate on what burning program you use and how. anything that could help pin the problem down.

Follow the guide on doom9. There is no need to use ISObuster or any other program other then what comes with the DVD2SVCD bundle, CCE and a cdr burning program (CDRWIN, VCDeasy, etc...).

Read through the newbie faq, the Q + A and the post about how to make a post.

I can burn an 806mb image without overburning on an 80 minute cdr disc no problem. The reason is posted in the Q + A.
There are links to guides in the Newbie Faq on how to burn using these programs.

The disc structure is already there in the cue/bin files. All you need to do is burn them.

1) I have solve my burning problem;it was due to a compatibiliy behaviour between my Pioneer A03 and the CD Rom. Now the CD rom is in the trash. And I can burn CUE File (Unbelivable! I was in trouble with TSCV also)). I've also to suggest this solution to all of the people that is in trouble with this DVDWriter working on CD-R.
2) Yesterday I've done already single chapters of commercial DVD. Two language. My Pioneer standalone Dv525 read it perfectly and I can swithc between the languages!
3) Still in trouble with Subtitels.They do not appear in the movie. However, after the GO, the programs ask me for the confirmation and I remember to have clicked on the language I choosed in the TAB Subtitles as first stream ..Belive me, I read entirely the guide and I will again.

If you choosed SVCD subtitles you can try using CVD subtitles if your dvd support them.
My dvd accept Svcd and Cvd subtitles but i was able to display subtitles only with cvd.

pioneer 525 does not support svcd or cvd subtitles. you'll have to use permanent to get it to work.

You're a good guy! (That is what I would like to write yesterday, my dam english. Belive or not I noted the mistake right now. So I understand why were you laughing)

Very smart. Yesterday I had not problem burning CUE file from one chapter with nero and Pioneer A03. Today nero tell me the same f...ed message when I try to burn the CUE files: "Can't burn in DAO Mode"...mmmmmmmmm........
