Been using dvd2svcd prog with no problems until now this keeps coming up : Access violation at address 00490FAC in module 'DVD2SVCD.exe'. Read of address 036224A9
Can anyone tell me what this is ??

Information severly lacking. Are you using the latest build of DVD2SVCD?
Are you running Pop up stopper?
Have you tried a search on the issue in the forums?
You need to be more specific in your heading of the posts.

ok sorry guys :more info
like i said everything has been working sweet havnt had a problem with it until this message came up .
I uninstalled it got the newer vers did the same thing tried that 3 times.
It happens at the first part where it rips the dvd .I have several movies on my hdd so im not actually using a disc .
I have not installed anything lately and it worked the night before this happened.If you have any ideas it would be great. :)

Your VOB files might be corrupted, try another set.

Are you trying to re-rip the files from the HD or just start the encode from the exhisting ones?

Some rippers and DVD2SVCD do not work very well together.

Does it work ok if you try and rip from a DVD?

Do you have any special characters in the path to the files?

Make sure you are not trying to rip the files into the same directory they are already in. You cannot copy onto itself.
If you are ripping from e:\dvd make sure your rip to folder is NOT e:\dvd.

Do the files load ok into DVD2AVI?

Can you play the VOB files in a software DVD player like WinDVD?

Post your DVD2SVCD_log.txt file.
